Con Preparation Committee

Help us collect material and supplies to build, draw, make things for the confestival.

Help design logos/ mascots, draw/make posters, flyers, business cards.

Help set up booths.
Familiars
-
Similar to how fantasy genre anime's often features a mage summoning supernatural beings for assistance, Familiars will assist artists and vendors with various tasks.
Guardians of the Gate
-
Guard entrances and exits to ensure all attendees have badges
-
Ensure that attendees are going entering and exiting through authorized entrances and exits.
Food Workers/ Maids/Hosts (Maid Cafe)
-
Food workers help prepare food booths and the maid cafe.
-
Food workers also help prepare food for the food booths.
-
Cosplay according to the Maid Cafe theme.
-
Orientation sessions will be provided.
Security Officers
-
Patrol the venue and maintain order.
-
Report dangerous cosplay weapons, suspicious activity, theft, etc.
Admission/Ticketing Staff
-
Set up: Help set up the confestival before the event. (Come early and set up the various panels, alley and hall, food booths, cafe, etc.)

Ticketing Staff: Before the confestival, you handle the admissions.

Artist/ Dealer check-in, Pre-registration, ID admission, General Admission.

Screening Supervisor

Make sure the movies are streaming/playing
-
Play the next episode/film when the previous one is finished
-
Monitor attendees
-
Ensure equipment is not lost, stolen, etc.
Service learning volunteer hours will be provided upon request.
